CÉLULAS TRONCO E ODONTOLOGIA
Abstract
As células tronco são um grupo especial de células que
possuem características específicas e aplicações na terapia
regenerativa de tecidos. Para que seja possível a formação
de um novo tecido precisamos das células tronco, um fator
de crescimento para induzi-las, e uma matriz como estrutura
de suporte. Podemos encontrar células tronco no
periodonto e no tecido pulpar. As células dos tecidos bucais
possuem a mesma capacidade de diferenciação que as
células tronco maduras da medula, o que inclui a
odontologia num cenário de avanços científicos. O objetivo
desse trabalho é apresentar um resumo das propriedades
das células tronco.
