EVOLUÇÃO DO ESTADO NUTRICIONAL DE CRIANÇAS

Este estudo teve o objetivo de verificar a associação do estado
nutricional de crianças matriculadas em escolas da
rede municipal com o gênero, zona rural e urbana, nos
anos de 2011, 2012 e 2013. Estudo do tipo quantitativo
transversal, com 4221 crianças, de idade entre 2 a 10 anos,
matriculadas na rede municipal de Estrela/RS. A maioria
das crianças encontrou-se em eutrofia, conforme o IMC
para a Idade (56,3%, n=2.375) eem risco de sobrepeso ou
sobrepeso e obesidade (55,9%, n=953) segundo o Peso para
a Estatura. O peso médio das crianças do ano de 2011, foi
significativamente maior que em 2012 e 2013 (p=0,003). Os
resultados demonstram que o sobrepeso e a obesidade estão
aumentando com o passar dos anos, afirmando o momento
de transição nutricional.
