TOXICIDADE AGUDA E CRÔNICA DO MXD-100 EM CAMARÕES DE ÁGUA DOCE Macrobrachiumamazonicum(HELLER, 1862) (CRUSTACEA, PALAEMONIDAE) EM CONDIÇÕES EXPERIMENTAIS
Abstract
Este trabalho teve como objetivo registrar o grau de toxicidade do MXD-100, um anti-incrustante a base de compostos vegetais, utilizado no controle biológico de organismos aquáticos, com diferentes dosagens, utilizando como organismo alvo um crustáceo de água doce. Foram utilizadas três réplicas com um exemplar de Macrobrachiumamazonicum(Heller, 1862), para as dosagens, 0,05 ppm, 0,5 ppm, 5,0 ppm e controle. Os testes resultaram na morte dos indivíduos na dosagem aguda 5,0ppm. Observou-se uma queda do oxigênio dissolvido chegando a 1,93 mg L-1após a diluição do produto na dosagem aguda. Os resultados mostraram que o MXD-100 possui potencialpara ser usado apenas em sistemas fechados e com elevado potencial de oxidação.
