CARACTERÍSTICAS IMAGINOLÓGICAS DO OSTEOMA OSTEOIDE DIAFISÁRIO DO FÊMUR NA RADIOGRAFIA, TOMOGRAFIA COMPUDADORIZADA E RESSONÂNCIA MAGNÉTICA: RELATO DE CASO E REVISÃO NA LITERATURA
Abstract
O osteoma osteoide é um tumor benigno osteoblástico caracterizado
por suas pequenas dimensões e que se manifesta
clinicamente em geral por dor noturna que apresenta
melhora significativa com o uso de salicilatos e anti-
inflamatórios não esteroidais, acometendo principalmente
crianças, adolescentes e adultos jovens. Pode situar-
se em qualquer parte do esqueleto, sendo mais frequente
nos ossos longos. Os autores descrevem um caso de osteoma
osteoide cortical diafisário no fêmur em paciente com
queixa de dor com aproximadamente um ano e meio de
evolução. O diagnóstico foi suspeitado pela radiografia e
confirmado pela tomografia computadorizada e ressonância
magnética. O tratamento realizado foi a ressecção em
bloco da lesão, com excisão do nidus. O diagnóstico definitivo
foi ratificado pelo exame histopatológico. Este caso
clínico destaca as características clínicas e sobretudo de
imagem do tumor nos exames de radiografia, tomografia
computadorizada e ressonância magnética.
