PRESENÇA DE AMELOBLASTOMA EM JOVEM DO GENERO MASCULINO: RELATO DE CASO
Abstract
Os ameloblastomas são neoplasias odontogênicas benignas
de origem epitelial com comportamento localmente agressivo.
Acometem predominantemente a mandíbula e podem
atingir proporções variadas de acordo com o tempo de
evolução. Manifestam-se geralmente entre a terceira e
quinta décadas de vida. O tratamento conservador, muitas
vezes associado a procedimentos adicionais, tem sido usado
como opção de escolha para muitos que tratam deste tipo
de tumor. Sendo assim este trabalho tem como objetivo
apresentar, através de um relato de caso clínico, a remoção
de um ameloblastoma na região posterior da mandíbula.
