EXTRAÇÃO DE SEGUNDO MOLAR COMO OPÇÃO TERAPEUTICA NA ORTODONTIA: UM RELATO DE CASO
Abstract
O objetivo desse trabalho é mostrar um caso clínico bem
diagnosticado e bem sucedido, e também enfocar a opinião
de diferentes autores sobre quando e quais indivíduos
indicar a extração dos segundos molares superiores e qual
o melhor momento de realizar as extrações, seus efeitos no
controle vertical e no perfil facial dos pacientes, suas
vantagens em relação à ATM. Concluiu-se que as extrações
dos segundos molares não são procedimentos de rotina,
mas há grandes chances de sucesso clínico quando feitas
sobre rigoroso diagnóstico e no tempo correto.
