Resumen

A atuação da enfermagem ao longo do tempo evolui e vem assumindo
novas funções na sociedade, conquistando novos espaços e principalmente
quanto ao aspecto da liderança. Este estudo tem o intuito de obter
informações sobre o transtorno para os funcionários e pacientes de um
hospital em reforma numa abordagem qualitativa. Para a coleta de dados,
foi utilizada uma entrevista semi-estruturada direcionada a 8 profissionais
da equipe de enfermagem do Hospital Pediátrico público na cidade de
Ponta Grossa-PR, sendo eles 7 auxiliares de enfermagem e 1 enfermeiro.
A coleta dos dados ocorreu em abril de 2006, onde os resultados apontaram
para a necessidade do enfermeiro em um planejamento prévio de
reforma dentro de uma instituição, assim como a importância da sua
atuação assistencial e administrativa nesse contexto, visando sempre o
bom gerenciamento e bem-estar dos colaboradores da equipe de enfermagem
assim como dos pacientes hospitalizados.
