REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA: CASOS CLÍNICOS DE DELÍRIO DE PARASITOSE

Revisão sistemática de fatores associados e tratamento de
pacientes com delírio de parasitose, que segundo Lee (2008),
consiste na alucinação visual e tátil da existência de pequenos
parasitas sob a pele. A busca foi realizada na base de
dados pertencentes à Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS),
LILACS, IBECS, MEDLINE, Biblioteca Cochrane e
SciELO. No presente artigo, de 11 casos clínicos revisados,
7 (63,63%), representaram mulheres. O principal tratamento
escolhido foi Pimozide. Em todos os resultados desta
revisão, os pacientes apresentaram a sensação de insetos
sob sua pele, coceira e lesões devido à tentativa de retirar os
insetos. O e alucinações parasitárias dos pacientes permaneciam,
mesmo após os familiares e os médicos afirmarem
que não haviam insetos na pele ou nos fragmentos coletados.
