ALEITAMENTO MATERNO X DESMAME PRECOCE
Resumen
Trata-se de um estudo transversal, de abordagem quantitativa
que objetivou identificar fatores que favorecem o desmame
precoce dos bebês. Esse estudo foi realizado em uma cidade do
interior do Paraná onde foram entrevistadas 50 mulheres. Como
resultados obteve-se que a maioria das mulheres amamentou
seus filhos até os 6 meses de idade, entretanto introduziram
alimentos complementares à dieta antes dos seis meses de idade.
Muitas mães não obtiveram orientações de profissionais da
saúde sobre o aleitamento. Conclui-se que a falta de informações
das mães pode ser um fator desencadeante para que a
mulher possa deixar de amamentar ou que possa introduzir
outros alimentos na dieta da criança antes dos 6 meses de idade.
