THE ACTION PSYCHOLOGY AGAINST SEXUAL VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS IN BASIC HEALTH CARE

Sexual violence is a growing phenomenon that much has passed in the lives of children and adolescents. Because of its complexity, its approach requires considerable knowledge so that they can be identified and repaired. The Basic Attention plays a key role of prevention, promotion, education and referrals, being the psychologist a professional important in the process of driving the violence and repair the damage caused. Thus, the objective of this study is to understand the role of Psychology forward to sexual violence against children and adolescents in basic health care through the evidence in the scientific literature. It is an integrative literature review, performed between June and August of 2018, using the databases SciELO and LILACS, having as descriptors of Sexual Violence, Child, adolescent, Psychology and Primary Health Care. The inclusion criteria were original articles with complete texts published in the Portuguese language, in the period from January 2012 to July 2018 and which addressed the goal of the theme of total and/or partial. The survey of the literature has found 14 articles that addressed the theme. The Basic Attention is a primary vehicle in the minimization of data growing violence, but this capacity needs to be rethought and exploited. The scarcity of studies on this topic demonstrates the need to move forward and improve. The studies are scarce, and is instead that it is intended to raise this discussion and contribute to this reality will change.It is important that there should be greater emphasis on preventive processes, for a higher quality of life in this group.
