Abstract
A incontinência urinária (IU) acomete milhões de pessoasde todas as idades, principalmente as do sexo feminino,afetando sua qualidade de vida.Existem várias modalidadesde tratamento: clínico (perda de peso, aumento da atividadefísica), medicamentoso (estrógenos vaginais), fisioterápico;todas alternativas ao tratamentocirúrgico.Este artigo visarevisar as diferentes modalidades de tratamento cirúrgico,suas indicações, complicações e técnicas.
