GRAVIDEZ NA ADOLESCÊNCIA: PERFIL DAS MÃES E DE SUA GESTAÇÃO

Abstract

Objetivo: descrever o perfil sociodemográfico das mães adolescentes
e, as características da sua gestação e de seus neonatos.
Métodos: estudo transversal descritivo com dados obtidos
das Declarações de Nascidos Vivos, coletados pelo Sistema
Nacional de Nascidos Vivos/SINASC, de Londrina, Paraná,
Brasil, no ano de 2012. Resultados: das 1.063 adolescentes,
95,6% tinham entre 15 e 19 anos; 48,8% estavam no ensino
fundamental II; 62,3% tinham companheiro; 69,8% eram
brancas; 75,5% realizaram seis consultas ou mais de pré-natal.
64% iniciaram o pré-natal no primeiro trimestre de gravidez;
58,8% tiveram parto normal e 41,2% parto cesáreo. Houve
10,7% de recém-nascidos de baixo peso e 18,2% de prematuros;
o Apgar foi superior a 8 em 86,9% dos casos no primeiro
minuto e 97,1% no quinto minuto. Conclusão: a gravidez na
adolescência é um fato complexo. Em razão de suas repercussões,
faz-se necessária uma ação conjunta da sociedade e
também uma visão mais crítica com relação aos programas de
prevenção da gravidez.
