Estabilidade de cor de resina composta: influência de soluções pigmentantes e de diferentes fontes de luz

A estabilidade de cor dos materiais restauradores estéticos
envolve vários fatores como as características intrínsecas e extrínsecas do
material. Este trabalho propôs-se realizar uma revisão da literatura a
respeito da estabilidade de cor de resinas compostas em função da
exposição a soluções pigmentantes e da fonte de luz. De acordo com os
relatos encontrados, pôde-se concluir que além das características
intrínsecas das resinas compostas, deve ser considerada a adequada
fotopolimerização do material restaurador, para que as suas propriedades
mecânicas e ópticas sejam ideais, e que, o café, o vinho e o chá são os
meios de imersão que mais influenciaram na alteração de cor das resinas
compostas.
