PODE O LÚDICO, ALIADO À EDUCAÇÃO FORMAL, REVERTER DEFICIÊNCIAS NA EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL?

O objetivo deste trabalho foi realizar levantamento quanto a noções de sustentabilidade e conscientização ambiental; analisar e comparar o nível de conhecimento sobre ecologia básica e avaliar a eficácia da abordagem lúdica para incutir informações sobre meio ambiente e ecologia entre alunos de escolas públicas e privadas. Foram selecionados 234 alunos do 5º ao 8º ano e adotadas aulas teóricas bem como visitas ao Laboratório de Ecologia da UFTM. Antes e após a visita um questionário com perguntas objetivas foi aplicado a 192 alunos escolhidos aleatoriamente, assim como uma avaliação aberta com questões dissertativas sobre as opiniões e atitudes do dia a dia. A correção dos questionários aplicado antes da aula mostrou a falta de embasamento teórico. No segundo questionário, observou-se que houve um aproveitamento razoável, mas ainda há necessidade de incorporar os conhecimentos no cotidiano e realmente assimilar conceitos básicos. O modelo adotado no nosso experimento foi inadequado para a proposta inicial e aparentemente não produziu resultados satisfatórios.
