COGUMELO Agaricus sylvaticus (AGARICACEAE): ADJUVANTE IMUNOLÓGICO NO TRATAMENTODO CÂNCER
Abstract
Dentre as alternativas existentes que visam enriquecer
tratamentos e terapias destinados a melhorar o quadro
clínico de pacientes com câncer, a suplementação por
adjuvantes imunoterapêuticos como o cogumelo Agaricus
sylvaticus tem ganhado grande destaque em estudos
científicos. Desse modo, foi realizado o levantamento
bibliográfico de trabalhos relevantes que contribuíram para
o melhor entendimento da função terapêutica desse fungo.
Muitas publicações abordam os principais princípios ativos,
encontrados no Agaricus sylvaticus, que atuam diretamente
como agentes antitumorais, entretanto, pouco se tem
conhecimento sobre a ação destes bioativos sobre células
humanas normais.
