RECURSOS FISIOTERAPÊUTICOS EM PACIENTE QUEIMADO: RELATO DE CASO DE UM SOBREVIVENTE DO INCÊNDIO NA BOATE KISS

Abstract

Este trabalho pretendeu fazer uma revisão dos recursos
fisioterapêuticos empregados como tratamento em queimados,
entre eles, o laser de baixa intensidade, cinesioterapia e
massoterapia, na cicatrização de ferida causada por
queimaduras por gotejamento de material tóxico com cianeto
em um sujeito do sexo feminino sobrevivente do incêndio na
Boate Kiss. Não foram encontrados relatos na literatura para
tratamento deste tipo de agente causador de queimadura. A
paciente apresentava lesão de espessura parcial de segundo grau
no braço. Com o objetivo de estimular o processo de
recuperação e funcionalidade nos movimentos, optou-se por
aplicar o Laser de Arseneto de Galio a 6J/cm² nas bordas da
ferida, numa frequência de três vezes por semana e
cinesioterapia e massoterapia cinco vezes por semana. As
medidas da área da ferida do braço foram tomadas
semanalmente até ser alcançada a completa cicatrização. Ao
término deste período foi possível constatar a eficácia do
tratamento proposto no processo de cicatrização e da
funcionalidade das sequelas motoras causadas por queimaduras
de material tóxico com cianeto.
