Educação em saúde bucal: quem assume esta responsabilidade?

Este estudo é um artigo original que tem o objetivo de
verificar a responsabilidade em educação em saúde bucal apontada por 60
professores de 1° a 4° série e de 47 cirurgiões-dentistas da cidade de
Araraquara (SP). Para isso, foi respondida uma questão objetiva. Os
dados foram analisados estatisticamente e os resultados mostraram que
70% dos professores e 66% dos dentistas não acreditam ser de sua
responsabilidade a educação em saúde bucal, havendo diferença
estatística não-significativa entre os grupos (p= 0,649). Apesar de a saúde
estar inserida dentro da proposta de ensino, os professores e os
cirurgiões-dentistas avaliados não se consideram responsáveis pelo
processo de educação em saúde bucal.
