POPULARIZAÇÃO DA CIÊNCIA NA PREVENÇÃO DAS DST/ AIDS NA TERCEIRA IDADE

Resumen

Segundo o IBGE, no ano de 2015 o estado do Paraná tinha uma população 5.646.193 mulheres e 5.516.825 homens. Destes, 6.91% e 5.79% eram mulheres e homens, respectivamente, com 60 anos e mais. Dados do Sistema de Informação de Agravos de Notificação (2014), revelaram um total de 1.632 casos de HIV e 984 de AIDS. Nas faixas etá- rias de 50 a 59 e 60 a 69 foram notificados 180 e 50 casos, respectivamente. Esta estatística expõe a importância de medidas socioeducativas permanentes em torno do tema para a terceira idade, já que o índice de envelhecimento comprova aumento na expectativa de vida do brasileiro sem, contudo, observarmos redução nos agravos de saúde relacionados as doenças sexualmente transmissíveis. Utilizamos a cienciometria para a coleta nos sites: Instituto Brasileiro de Informações em Ciência e Tecnologia (IBICT) e Google. Os descritores empregados foram “preservativo feminino e terceira idade” e “preservativo masculino e terceira idade”. IBICT resultou em 2 artigos e 4 dissertações. Google apontou 10 sites, 1 artigo em PDF e um do Scielo. Conclui-se que as informações têm sido popularizadas superficialmente no Google e que o IBICT apresenta baixa contribuição científica, evidenciando necessidade de investimentos em ambos.
