O papel do agente comunitário de saúde na educação em saúde bucal

O objetivo deste presente artigo foi analisar o papel do agente
comunitário de saúde num contexto de técnicas e políticas de educação
em saúde bucal realizadas no Brasil, através de uma revisão bibliográfica
de textos oriundos da Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BIREME). Verificouse
a necessidade de mudança de postura profissional dos gestores
públicos brasileiros, das equipes dos programas ACS (Agente
Comunitário de Saúde) e PSF (Programa Saúde da Família) e nas técnicas
pedagógicas utilizadas neste processo, ressaltando a territorialização
como um modelo estratégico de educação em saúde bucal no âmbito do
SUS.
