Pré-eclampsia e suas Implicações à Saúde da Mulher

Abstract

A hipertensão arterial gestacional é uma doença que acomete cerca de 8% das gestantes a partir da 20ª
semana de gestação. Os sinais e sintomas no início assemelham-se a sintomatologia fisiológica da
gestação, o que faz com que o profissional de saúde tenha uma atenção dobrada diante dos fatores de
risco desta doença, tanto que se não detectada a tempo trás sérias consequências tanto para a mãe quanto
para o feto podendo levar à morte de ambos. Portanto é de suma importância o papel de todos da equipe
da rede básica de saúde, pois através da participação de cada um, é possível conscientizar essas gestantes
da importância de uma gestação bem acompanhada, evitando qualquer preocupação garantindo um parto
seguro e saudável. Diante disto este trabalho visa discorrer sobre a pré-eclampsia mostrando suas
implicações à saúde materna e quais métodos que se pode adotar para prevenir e/ou tratar esta patologia.
Este artigo trata de uma pesquisa bibliográfica e para sua elaboração foi realizado uma pesquisa em
acervos literários buscados em bibliotecas e sites de artigos científicos como SCIELO e MEDLINE,
dentre outros.
