TRATAMENTO ORTODONTICO EM PACIENTES COM COMPROMETIMENTO PERIODONTAL

O artigo foi baseado em pesquisas, cujo objetivo foi fazer uma análise preliminar para o
conhecimento e forma de tratamento ortodôntico em pacientes com problemas periodontais,
através de estudos, relatando a grande dúvida de muitos profissionais refere à possibilidade de
uma intervenção ortodôntica em pacientes com comprometimentos periodontais associado com
perdas ósseas severas, devido à doença periodontal. Outro fator importante é referente a
intensidade do tracionamento que deve ser aplicada nos dentes com comprometimentos
periodontais, que precisam ser mantidas dentro dos limites com a intensidade inferior à utilizada
em pacientes com periodonto íntegro.
