FAUNA FLEBOTOMÍNEA OCORRENTE EM ÁREAS ENDÊMICAS PARA LEISHMANIOSES NO MUNICÍPIO DE CÁCERES-MT

Abstract

O presente trabalho objetivou identificar as espécies de Flebotomíneos ocorrentes em
áreas endêmicas para Leishmaniose no Município de Cáceres-MT, selecionando dois
Bairros com ocorrência de casos para a doença; Bairro Massa Barro e Espírito Santo, e
dois Assentamentos com elevados números de casos registrados: Assentamento
Barranqueira e Laranjeira II. Foi instalada uma armadilha do tipo CDC em cada
residência investigada, em locais de provável aparecimento dos flebótomos (quintal,
galinheiros, chiqueiros, depósitos, casas de cachorro, etc.), ficando abertas entre o
crepúsculo (18:00 horas) até o amanhecer (6:00 horas). Foram coletados 294
flebotomíneos, dos quais 192 (65,30%) eram machos e 102 (34,69%) fêmeas,
representados por dois gêneros e doze espécies. As espécies coletadas foram: Lutzomyia
goiana, Lutzomyia corumbaensis, Lutzomyia whitmani, Lutzomyia sordeli, Lutzomyia
migonei, Lutzomyia yuilli yuilli Brumptomyia brumpti. Lutzomyia cruzi, Lutzomyia
longipalpis, Lutzomyia evandroi e Lutzomyia termitofhila. Houve predominância de
Lutzomyia cruzi, representando 75% dos exemplares capturados, seguido por Lutzomyia
whitmani (22,6%).
