Descrição de um protocolo cinesioterapêutico combinado sobre a dor e a força muscular respiratória em portadores de lombalgia crônica inespecífica

O objetivo foi de descrever a influência de um protocolo
cinesioterapêutico combinado sobre a dor e sobre a força muscular
respiratória em três portadores de lombalgia crônica inespecífica (LCI). A
amostra compôs-se por três voluntárias com LCI, idade média de
43,6±18,5 anos. Determinou-se, por manuovacuometria, as pressões
máximas inspiratória (PImáx) e expiratória (PEmáx) e a dor pela escala
visual analógica (EVA) antes e após cada sessão. Aplicou-se a
intervenção três vezes por semana por 15 sessões. O protocolo
cinesioterapêutico compôs-se de uma combinação de técnicas
direcionadas ao tratamento da coluna lombar. Pelo pequeno grupo
amostral, apenas a dor foi tratada pelo teste t pareado (α=0,05). Os
resultados, respectivamente, da PImáx inicial e final das voluntárias A, B
e C foram: A) 94 e 94%; B) 76 e 101%; C) 75 e 75%. Os resultados,
respectivamente, da PEmáx inicial e final das voluntárias A, B e C foram:
A) 103 e 103%; B) 105 e 144%; C) 106 e 116%. As médias da dor
coletadas no início e no final das sessões, respectivamente, bem como a
significância estatística para as voluntárias A, B e C foram: A)
1,0±1,1/0,7±1,1/ p=0,08; B) 4,2±2,9/3,9±2,8/ p=0,06; C) 4,0±1,6/3,8±1,6/
p=0,008. As respostas das voluntárias foram heterogêneas à intervenção.
