Nutrientes dissolvidos no canal de acesso ao estuário da Lagoa dos Patos (RS/Brasil)

As concentrações dos nutrientes inorgânicos dissolvidos
foram estudadas nas águas de superfície no Canal de Acesso ao estuário
da Lagoa dos Patos, divididas em duas regiões (Região A e Região B)
nos meses de junho (inverno) e setembro (primavera) de 2003, em regime
de vazante. As maiores concentrações de amônio ocorreram na Região A
no período da primavera. O fosfato apresentou elevadas concentrações no
período da primavera, enquanto que o nitrato no período de inverno. As
concentrações dos nutrientes encontradas para água do Canal de Acesso
ao estuário da Lagoa dos Patos refletiram a contribuição devido às
contribuições antrópicas, bem como o processo de ressuspensão dos
sedimentos de fundo.
