Incidência da infecção causada por Cândida sp, G.vaginalis e outros microorganismos patogênicos no trato genial feminino em um grupo de mulheres da Amazônia brasileira

O conteúdo vulvar ou vulvovaginal sob forma de corrimento,
exudatos ou secreções anormais serão sempre motivo de investigação
microbiológica. O aspecto macroscópico não satisfaz, pois raramente
correlaciona-se com o agente etiológico. Entretanto, interessa à prática
recordar a aparência sanguínea purulenta, amiúde de odor fétido. O
diagnóstico da vulvovaginite é um dos mais freqüentes na prática diária
do ginecologista. No presente estudo, foram submetidos a exames
laboratoriais um total de 165 mulheres, para verificar a incidência de
microorganismos, particularmente do gênero Candida.
