Morfologia dos tecidos periimplantares

Este artigo desenvolve uma revisão da literatura sobre a morfologia dos
tecidos formados ao redor dos implantes de titânio. Sabendo que o uso de
implantes metálicos na reabilitação oral em pacientes com perda de
estética e função é cada vez mais freqüente, torna-se pertinente o
conhecimento estrutural e ultra-estrutural da organização dos tecidos
periimplantares para a obtenção de maior previsibilidade dos resultados
desta terapia.
