Púrpura Trombocitopênica Idiopática (PTI): relato de caso clínico em paciente jovem no município de Maringá-PR

Este artigo relata o caso clínico de um paciente jovem portador de
Púrpura Trombocitopênica Idiopática (PTI) internado em um hospital do
município de Maringá-PR. Tendo como objetivo atender as exigências
curriculares, aconteceu no decorrer do estágio da disciplina de Saúde do
Adulto, e visou fazer um levantamento bibliográfico para posteriormente
relacionarmos com os sinais e sintomas que o paciente apresentava. A
metodologia utilizada foi através de uma entrevista semi-diretiva com o
paciente, ainda no período de internação e para complementação dos
dados foi feito levantamento do prontuário médico. A PTI tem uma causa
exata desconhecida, onde há uma produção de anticorpos
antiplaquetários, diminuindo a vida das plaquetas. A caso descrito
provavelmente esta relacionado com a administração da vacina de
Hepatite B, embora a literatura descreva que não há relação da doença na
fase crônica com infecções virais prévias, mas há uma relação íntima com
os fatores de alteração auto-imune.
