RESUMO
A doença de Ménétrier, também conhecida como gastroenteropatia hipertrófica perdedora de proteína, foi descrita primariamente em 1988 pelo médico francês Pierre Ménétrier. É uma condição rara, que afeta 1 em cada 200.000 habitantes. Mais comum em adultos entre 40 e 60 anos, tem potencial maligno se não resolvido precocemente. O objetivo deste artigo é relatar um caso de paciente com doença de Ménétrier com sintomas inespecíficos.
