USO DE ÁCIDO TRANEXÂMICO (AT) EM PRÓTESE TOTAL PRIMÁRIA DE JOELHO (PTJ) E SUA REPERCUSSÃO NA PERDA SANGUÍNEA PÓS-OPERATÓRIA

RESUMO
O uso do ácido tranexâmico, em cirurgias de artroplastia total primária de joelho, tem sido objeto de estudo constante, onde as estratégias para a redução de sangramento visam diminuir a necessidade de hemotransfusão e complicações. O objetivo deste artigo é avaliar o uso do ácido tranexâmico endovenoso na redução do sangramento em pacientes submetidos à artroplastia total primária de joelho. Foram estudados 43 pacientes submetidos a PTJ no período entre fevereiro de 2016 a fevereiro de 2017, divididos em dois grupos. Grupo A que fez uso do ácido tranexâmico via endovenosa e grupo B que não fizeram uso do ácido tranexâmico. O grupo que fez uso do ácido tranexâmico, foi encontrado sangramento dentro do dreno de sucção, uma média de 179 ml de sangramento, redução média HB: 2,40 g/dl do e HT: 7,98%, já o grupo que não fez o uso de ácido tranexâmico apresento uma média de 342 ml de sangramento, queda média do HB: 3,39 g/dl e HT: 10,14%. O grupo que fez uso do ácido tranexâmico obteve maior benefício devido o menor sangramento no dreno de sucção, menor redução da HB e HT quando comparado com o grupo que não fez uso do ácido tranexâmico.
