Abstract

Tratou-se de estudo descritivo de abordagem quantitativa que teve por objetivo identificar os fatores associados ao estresse entre trabalhadores de uma instituição de ensino superior. Realizado em uma instituição pública de ensino superior, do noroeste do Paraná, com 44 trabalhadores. Verificou-se a prevalência de ansiedade (51,8%) e a hipertensão arterial (25,4%). Os fatores de estresse relacionados as condições de trabalhos que se destacaram foram falta de recursos, equipamento e infraestrutura (70,45%) e excesso de carga horária e trabalho (68,18%). As dificuldades nas relações humanas (79,53%) e a baixa adesão à pratica de exercícios físicos (41,7%) também foi apontado como estressor. Quanto as condições de gestão, mostrou-se a falta de suporte, apoio e omissão do governo (70,45%) e incertezas, mudanças no trabalho e no governo (63,63%). Conclui-se que os fatores determinantes para o estresse referidos por trabalhadores foram as condições de trabalho, dificuldades nas relações humanas e características negativas da gestão.
