O presente estudo, fruto de questionamentos e vivências da
autora, buscou compreender como ocorre a prática pedagógica das
enfermeiras docentes e da coordenadora da Educação Profissional
Técnica de Nível Médio em Enfermagem de uma instituição privada do
interior paulista. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório, de
natureza qualitativa. Foi utilizada a metodologia de Bogdan e Biklen
(1994). A obtenção dos dados se deu por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas
gravadas, no período de julho a dezembro de 2006, tendo
como população cinco enfermeiras professoras e a coordenadora do
curso. A análise dos dados possibilitou identificar o Fenômeno Central: A
prática pedagógica na Educação Profissional Técnica de Nível Médio em
Enfermagem, emergindo três categorias: o professor na instituição escola
profissional; o conhecimento para ser professor; o processo ensinoaprendizagem:
planejamento, execução e avaliação. Dessas, foi possível
repensar a prática pedagógica, como uma atividade baseada na práxis.
