"Eu quero saber: DST/HIV/AIDS”: uma proposta de intervenção em uma instituição de ensino

O presente artigo trata-se de um relato sobre a experiência de se
realizar o projeto de intervenção em saúde intitulado “Eu quero saber:
DST/HIV/AIDS”, em um colégio da rede de ensino pública estadual do
município de Umuarama, região noroeste do Estado do Paraná, Brasil, durante o
ano letivo de 2010. O qual contou com a participação de uma equipe de
profissionais da área de saúde, funcionários do Centro de Referência em
DST/HIV/AIDS e hepatites virais de Umuarama-PR, que prestaram
esclarecimentos e informação a um grupo de 49 adolescentes matriculados no 3º
ano do ensino médio do referido colégio que freqüentaram 4 rodas de conversa
onde expuseram suas dúvidas sobre a temática sexualidade na adolescência e
DST. Através da análise das dúvidas apresentadas pelos adolescentes durante as
rodas de conversar, foi possível identificar o nível de conhecimento deles sobre
a temática. Ao término do projeto constatou-se que através deste tipo de
intervenção é possível esclarecer dúvidas e despertar a conscientização da
importância da prática do sexo seguro, afim de se promover a prevenção de
contaminação por DST nesta população de modo significativo.
