O TRATAMENTO DA MORDIDA ABERTA ANTERIOR COM COMPROMETIMENTO DENTOALVEOLAR NO ADULTO

O tratamento ortodôntico da mordida aberta em adulto somente com comprometimento dentário é considerado pelos ortodontistas como um procedimento simples. No entanto, há casos em que colagens diferenciadas dos acessórios ortodônticos associados a mecânicas específicas para o fechamento de mordida aberta se faz necessário para solucionar o problema instalado. O presente artigo tem como objetivo relatar o tratamento da mordida aberta anterior dentária em um paciente adulto, suavemente horizontal, com interposição lingual. Foram realizados diversos procedimentos estratégicos a fim de corrigir a mordida aberta anterior e garantir a estabilidade do caso.
