Abstract

RESUMO

O ileo biliar (IB) é uma causa rara de obstrução do trato gastrointestinal por cálculo biliar que pode ocorrer do estômago até o reto, sendo mais comum a obstrução ao nível do intestino delgado. Paciente frequentemente apresenta quadro de abdome agudo obstrutivo e se não tratada a tempo apresenta elevados índices de morbidade e mortalidade. O diagnóstico deste caso foi feito baseado na história clínica, anamnese e exames de imagens (USG, TC). O presente artigo apresenta um relato de caso de uma paciente de 59 anos, com íleo biliar, que mostra complicações raras da doença calculosa biliar e sua repercussão na morbidade e mortalidade, caso apresente demora no seu diagnóstico.
