GESTÃO DE CUSTOS HOSPITALARES: O CONHECIMENTO DO ENFERMEIRO

A Gestão de Custo é fundamental para qualquer instituição
de saúde, visto que as despesas são altas e nem sempre as
receitas suprem toda a demanda. Neste contexto o Enfermeiro
exerce papel fundamental na gestão de custos hospitalares,
pois atuam diretamente com o consumo de insumos
hospitalares. O gerenciamento dos custos deve ser discutido
e desenvolvido durante as ações de enfermagem, pois o uso
racional dos artigos médicos hospitalares pode-se promover
uma diminuição dos mesmos. O objetivo deste estudo foiidentificar
o conhecimento do profissional enfermeiro sobre
a gestão de custos hospitalares e destacar a sua importância
no processo. Tratou-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório
com abordagem qualitativa, realizado no Hospital Santa
Casa de Misericórdia de Campo Mourão, Paraná. Os sujeitos
da pesquisa foram os enfermeiros que atuam nas
unidades de internação, os dados foram coletados através de
entrevistas individuais semiestruturada, gravadas e transcritas
na íntegra, que acorreu no período de dezembro de
2015 ajaneiro de 2016. Concluiu-se com este estudo o quão
despreparado estão os enfermeiros que atuam em diferentes
setores, compondo uma tríade negativa ao entendimento-
conhecimento-desvalorização sobre o tema descrito. Assim
o enfermeiro atual deve obter instrução suficiente para
ser capaz de gerenciar custos sem perder a qualidade no
atendimento.
