PERCEPÇÃO DOS FARMACÊUTICOS E ATENDENTES DE FARMÁCIA SOBRE AS SIGLAS DE MEDICAMENTOS COM LIBERAÇÃO MODIFICADA

As formas farmacêuticas de liberação modificada
caracterizam-se pela liberação gradual do fármaco no
organismo, mantendo sua concentração plasmática em níveis
terapêuticos, durante um período de tempo prolongado. O
objetivo do presente trabalho foi avaliar o conhecimento de
farmacêuticos e atendentes farmacistas sobre as siglas de
liberação modificada. Para tanto, foi realizado um estudo
com delineamento transversal com farmacêuticos e
atendentes farmacistas no município de Bacabal (MA),
através da aplicação de um questionário estruturado,
contendo questões sobre as variáveis sociodemográficas e
sobre o entendimento das siglas, durante os meses de outubro
a novembro de 2015. O estudo foi realizado em 16 farmácias
localizadas no centro comercial de Bacabal, com um total de
30 profissionais, incluindo farmacêuticos e atendentes
farmacistas. Foram entrevistados 25 (83%) atendentes e 5
(17%) farmacêuticos. Verificou-se um maior conhecimento
dos farmacêuticos sobre as seguintes siglas: AP, BD, LP e
SR, respectivamente com uma frequência de (n=4; 80%).
Entre os atendentes as siglas AP (n=16, 64%), DI (n=13;
52%) e SL (n=18; 72%) foram mais frequentes. Dessa forma,
podemos concluir que, tanto farmacêuticos como atendentes
possuem um índice de conhecimento ainda insuficiente sobre
as siglas de liberação modificada, o que favorece uma
dispensação com deficiência de informações aos pacientes.
