Hipertensão arterial: entre o real e o ideal

A hipertensão arterial é uma patologia popularmente
conhecida por “pressão alta” e a mesma é caracterizada quando o sangue
que circula no interior das artérias exerce pressão maior que a esperada.
Esse trabalho teve como objetivos verificar os comportamentos ideal e
real de um grupo de pacientes com hipertensão, e esclarecer as principais
dúvidas sobre a doença e procurar alertar sobre a importância de
manterem hábitos de vida saudáveis. Para a realização deste trabalho,
foram entrevistadas pessoas hipertensas, sendo que 20 delas frequentam
as reuniões do posto de saúde (PP), e outras 20 que não frequentam (PN)
as reuniões. Os entrevistados responderam a um questionário sobre o que
consideram ideal no controle da pressão e como eles agiam no dia-a-dia
para tratamento da hipertensão. Os resultados mostraram que, mesmo
conhecendo os fatores que são prejudiciais ao combate da hipertensão,
muitos pacientes os negligenciam, ou seja, o ideal conhecido por eles,
não condiz com a realidade. Espera-se que as ações realizadas pelo grupo
tenham contribuído como método auxiliar no tratamento do dia a dia do
hipertenso.
